Italian affiliate Casino2k was shortlisted for Best Affiliate at the SiGMA Italia Awards, held during SiGMA World in Rome from 2 to 5 November. The award went to another company, but it was the brand’s first nomination at the SiGMA Italia Awards.
Casino2k was represented at the four-day event by its founders, Salvatore Martorana and Matteo Giannone. The brand is owned by STS Web Consulting and has worked in Italy’s regulated online gaming market for almost two decades.
A run of shortlistings
The nomination follows two shortlistings at this year’s EGR Italy Awards, for Affiliate of the Year and Casino Affiliate, and a win in the Casino Affiliate category at the EGR Italy Awards 2025. Gamblita covered the 2026 EGR result in Casino2k reaches two EGR Italy Awards finals.
Matteo Giannone said:
“First of all, I would like to highlight how rewarding this event has been for those of us working in this industry. It gave us the opportunity to step away for a few days from the digital work we carry out on a regular basis and meet many people who share our passion for iGaming, listen to different experiences and opinions, exchange views and look at things from another perspective. In short, SiGMA is truly an unmissable event, and we are very happy to have been shortlisted for the Best Affiliate award. Even though we did not win, we are left with the feeling that we are moving in the right direction.”
Beyond its editorial and commercial work, Casino2k runs a forum where players can ask for support and clarification. The company says it intends to keep growing while sticking to the editorial approach it has followed since its early days.
