Our team

How the Gamblita newsroom is organised, from the news and regulation desks to markets correspondents, and how to contribute opinion pieces.

Gamblita is produced by an independent newsroom. Stories are currently published under the byline Gamblita Newsroom. As we grow, the newsroom is organised into desks, each with a clear area of responsibility.

News desk

The news desk covers the day’s developments across the industry: launches, deals, partnerships, results and people moves. It produces most of what appears in Gamblita Daily.

Regulation desk

The regulation desk follows licensing, enforcement, compliance and AML, responsible gambling, and tax and policy. It reads regulator notices, consultations and legislation so readers understand what has changed and who it affects. It also produces our Regulation Alerts.

Markets correspondents

Our markets correspondents cover Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Africa. They follow the local regulators, operators and policy debates that shape each market.

Insights and data

The insights and data desk produces analysis and explainers, works with published figures from companies and regulators, and builds the context behind the headlines.

Write for us

We welcome opinion pieces from people working in and around the industry, including operators, suppliers, regulators, lawyers, analysts and affiliates. Send a short pitch to [email protected] with the subject line “Opinion”.

Our guidelines for contributors:

  • Pitch an argument, not a topic. Tell us what you think and why it matters now.
  • Pieces are usually 700 to 1,000 words.
  • Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere.
  • No product promotion. Pieces that read as marketing will be declined or offered as sponsored content.
  • Disclose your employer and any relevant interests. We publish these with your piece.
  • We edit for clarity, length and accuracy, and you will see the final version before publication.
