Genius Sports has raised its full-year guidance after a third quarter in which revenue rose 62% to $269.9m, ahead of its own $260m forecast. The sports data and technology group, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, also recorded income from operations for the first time.

Third-quarter figures

The results cover the three months to 30 September 2026:

  • Group revenue: $269.9m, up from $166.3m a year earlier.
  • Betting Technology, Content & Services: $153.0m, up 33%, helped by price rises on contract renewals, added services and new offerings.
  • Media Technology, Content & Services: $116.9m, up 126%, mainly because of the Legend acquisition.
  • Income from operations: $10.4m, a $36.0m improvement on the third quarter of 2025.
  • Group net loss: $15.7m, narrowed from $28.8m.
  • Group adjusted EBITDA: $87.1m, up 156%, for a margin of 32.3%.
  • Group free cash flow: $53.6m, a 61.5% conversion of adjusted EBITDA.

Part of the improvement in the net loss came from lower stock-based compensation, which fell by $10.7m to $15.2m and now equals 5.6% of revenue, compared with 15.6% a year ago.

Raised guidance

Genius Sports now expects 2026 group revenue of $1.015bn to $1.035bn, up from $1.005bn to $1.025bn, and adjusted EBITDA of $287m to $297m, up from $285m to $295m. That implies an adjusted EBITDA margin of 28.5% at the midpoint. The company also expects to end the year with about $260m in cash, which it says implies more than $100m of free cash flow in the second half.

Prediction markets and media deals

During the quarter Genius Sports partnered with Polymarket and Kalshi to supply content, integrity services and marketing solutions, and launched Prediction.com, a platform for comparing probabilities and event contracts. Other deals included Semi-Automated Offside Technology for Brazil’s football confederation, CBF, an athlete-led media company with NBA All-Star Chris Paul and Words + Pictures, and live broadcast enhancements for Liga MX with TelevisaUnivision.

Since the quarter ended, it has partnered with X to connect NFL Gametime on X with the NFL’s official data, and expanded its offside technology work with Argentina’s football association, AFA.
