Catena Media now owns more than 5% of its own shares after a run of share repurchases in September and October.

The Malta-headquartered affiliate group held 3,965,809 of its own ordinary shares as of 26 October 2026, equal to 5.03% of the total number of shares in the company. Passing the 5% threshold meant Catena Media had to file a notification of major holdings, which it submitted to itself and to the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).

The company published the information on 28 October under the MFSA’s Capital Markets Rules. The notification of major holdings is available as a PDF, and Catena Media lists all such filings on its major holdings page.

Catena Media generates leads for online casino and sports betting operators through a portfolio of affiliate brands. It employs more than 150 people and its shares (CTM) are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm Small Cap. Earlier this month, the company reported its share buyback activity for 19 to 23 October.
