Pragmatic Play has released Sweet Loot, a pirate-themed slot set in a candy land, which pairs a pay-anywhere grid with a row of multipliers above the reels.

The game is played on a 6×6 grid made of gummy-style symbols. Landing 8 to 12 or more matching pirate symbols anywhere on the grid creates a win, and symbols on a horizontal row that sits above reels two to five also count.

How the features work

  • Multiplier row: symbols on the top row can carry multipliers of up to 500x. The values of all multipliers in a winning combination are added together and applied to the spin’s total win.
  • Free spins: four to six scatters trigger 10 to 30 free spins, plus an instant cash prize of up to 2,000x. At least one multiplier lands on every spin in the feature, and three more scatters add five spins.
  • Super Free Spins: triggering the bonus with Super Scatters means all four symbols on the top row carry a multiplier.

Sweet Loot launched globally on 29 October 2026. It goes live in Spain, Greece, Italy, Peru and Romania on 26 November 2026. The release follows Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza POP series and Big Bass Splash Halloween 1000.

Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, said:

“We wanted to give Sweet Loot a distinctive personality, bringing a colourful cast of gummy pirates into a treasure-hunting adventure. The horizontal reel adds an interesting dimension to the gameplay, with its changing multiplier values creating a sense of anticipation as each tumble unfolds.”
