Kongebonus has opened its 2026 Awards, the fifth year of the Norwegian platform’s prizes for the games, studios and casino brands that made the most impact on players in Norway over the past 12 months.
The Oslo-based comparison and news site set up the Awards in 2022. Winners are chosen by combining votes from the Kongebonus community with an assessment by its editorial team, and the scheme covers both large suppliers and smaller studios.
This year’s edition also takes in a market that Kongebonus says is being changed by artificial intelligence, localisation and more complex game mathematics.

Several of the 2025 awards were presented in person at ICE Barcelona 2026 by David Nilsen, Kongebonus’ Editor-in-Chief. Voting for the 2026 Awards is now open on the Kongebonus website.
What Kongebonus said
Nilsen said the Awards offer “a direct view of what Norwegian players genuinely rate at the end of the year”, something the company does not get “from industry data alone.”
He said last year’s winners ranged from some of the largest suppliers to studios “that have built incredibly loyal followings through the quality of their games”, adding: “That mix is what we want the Awards to capture.”
