Play’n GO has released Beasts of Fire Inferno, a new video slot that drops volcanic eruptions into a snow-covered mountain wilderness and builds its bonus play around two ideas: animal symbols that transform into fire beasts, and a coin-collection feature that can grow the grid.
The Swedish supplier launched the game on 27 October 2026. The setting mixes lava flows, falling snow and ancient carved stones, with a flaming Fire Beast at the centre of the artwork, flanked by a bear, an eagle, a raccoon and a mountain lion.
Buffalo symbols take on the Fire Beast’s form
The Buffalo is the symbol that changes most. In the Fire Free Spins round, every Buffalo becomes a Fire Beast, and the reel layout expands at the same time, so the game’s signature character moves from the background into the paying grid.
A second transformation mechanic, Inferno Storm, is triggered by the Buffalo Relic symbol. It places Fire Frames on the reels, and the symbols underneath them turn into matching beast symbols.
Hold N’ Load and Bonus Inferno Coins
Collection runs alongside the transformations. Bonus Inferno Coins land on the reels and are gathered by the Inferno Core, while the Hold N’ Load feature locks the coins in place. As Hold N’ Load progresses, extra rows can unlock to make room for more coins, and an Extra Boost can also appear during the feature.
Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said the Fire Beast’s role in the free spins round was central to the design:
“The strongest game characters have a role to play beyond their appearance. The Fire Beast has that connection here: during Fire Free Spins, Buffalo symbols take its form as the reel layout expands. For me, that transformation is the moment that brings Beasts of Fire Inferno together – a frozen wilderness overtaken by fire, with its signature creature becoming part of the action.”
