Gaming Corps has signed a content partnership with Veikkaus, Finland’s state-owned gaming operator. The deal comes as Veikkaus prepares to lose its exclusive hold on online casino and betting when Finland switches to a licence-based market on 1 July 2027.

The first launch will focus on Gaming Corps’ slots catalogue, including its 3 Pigs series, which has become one of the studio’s most popular franchises. The partnership leaves room to add more of the Swedish developer’s portfolio later, such as its table, mine, plinko and multiplier games and its own products Smash4Cash, A-MAZE-CADES and X-MY-WAY.

A monopoly getting ready for rivals

Veikkaus has run Finnish gaming for more than 85 years and has close to 2.7 million registered customers. It offers lottery, sports betting, iCasino and instant games, and its online store veikkaus.fi is one of the largest e-commerce sites in Finland. It also runs Casino Helsinki and 44 gaming arcades.

Under the new law, licensed private operators will be able to offer online casino and betting in Finland from July 2027. Veikkaus has been signing new suppliers to prepare its lobby for that competition, and Gaming Corps is one of them.

The market is now approaching one of the biggest changes in its history, so this is a particularly exciting time for us to begin working together.
