Just over one in five players aged 18 to 24 had set a deposit limit. The share rises through each age band, reaching its highest level among 45 to 54-year-olds, and stays almost flat for players aged 55 and over.

Self-exclusion: a different curve
Self-exclusion does not follow the same pattern. Use is highest among players aged 25 to 34, at 20.6%, with the 35 to 44 group close behind. It then falls in the older bands, and players aged 55 and over are the least likely to have self-excluded.
