Two coffins sit above the reels and fill up as the game is played. Each one triggers a different feature, and together they lift the game’s hit rate to 32.29%.
The Collection coffin
Moon symbols that land are stored in a red Collection coffin. When it holds enough, a Vampire Collect symbol is added to the fifth reel, and that symbol gathers the prize values of every moon in view. The collect symbol can also appear in the base game without the coffin, but the coffin makes it more likely.
The Free Spins coffin
A green Free Spins coffin fills when scatter symbols are collected. Players can also reach the feature by landing scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time. Either route awards 15 Evolving Free Spins, during which:
- any low-value symbol, from ace to ten, that forms a win is removed from the reels for the rest of the round;
- high-value symbols that win are upgraded from silver to gold and pay double;
- wilds that land are saved and then placed back on the reels together for a last Blood Moon Spin.
