Italy’s regulated gaming sector will have a dedicated home at ICE Barcelona 2027. Casa Italia, a new space at the show, will open at Fira Barcelona Gran Via when ICE runs from 18 to 20 January.

The project is led by IGE – Italian Gaming Expo & Conference and the publisher GN Media, in a strategic partnership with WorldGaming, the company that organises ICE. The organisers describe it as more than a pavilion: a meeting point for operators, suppliers, regulators, institutions and trade associations from Italy and abroad.

What will happen there

Casa Italia’s programme will cover regulated markets, innovation, consumer protection, sustainability and responsible gaming, along with networking sessions. It will also link up with ICE’s own initiatives for the international regulatory community. The official opening is set for Monday 18 January 2027 at 12:00.

Italy is not only a major market, but also a source of industrial and regulatory expertise.

Alessio Crisantemi, Founder, IGE, and head of GN Media

Italy is a major force in European gaming, and Casa Italia offers a valuable opportunity to connect its expertise with ICE’s global community.

A long-term plan

The partners say Casa Italia is meant to return in future years rather than be a one-off showcase, building lasting links between Italy’s regulated market and the wider industry. Italian companies have been prominent in recent industry events, with Casino2k reaching two finals at the EGR Italy Awards this month.
