Each captain symbol that lands fills a meter beside the reels; filling it starts Hold & Win. The captain can also clone himself across the reels to trigger the feature at once. Players get three respins, which reset each time a blank, multiplier or extra captain lands, and extra captains open more reel spaces.
The cannon battle
Collecting enough key scatters starts a battle against an approaching fleet, with three cannon balls to begin. Each hit pays a multiplier and reloads ammunition.
