Golden Whale, a supplier of machine learning and decision intelligence tools to the iGaming sector, has signed a commercial agreement with operator Coolbet.
The deal is intended to shift Coolbet from reacting to player activity towards anticipating it, and to let the operator adjust engagement strategies and frontend behaviour more quickly and accurately while staying within regulatory requirements.
What Coolbet is taking
- Foundation: Golden Whale’s optimisation platform, which processes live player data to estimate player value, churn risk and behavioural intent
- Smart Functions: a library that connects those capabilities to existing platform, CRM and data systems
- BonusPilot: a tool that picks rewards and offers for each player, replacing fixed rules
Golden Whale says BonusPilot cuts manual work, improves the efficiency of bonus spend and makes offers more relevant at scale. The company positions its models as a decision layer working alongside an operator’s CRM rather than replacing it.
What the companies said
Eberhard Dürrschmid, chief executive of Golden Whale, said: “Operating successfully across multiple markets brings enormous opportunities, but also a level of complexity.”
Tero Holopainen, head of product for casino and games at Coolbet, said: “Technology has always been central to how we operate, but what matters most is how we use it.” His comments suggest the tools will be introduced in stages.
