NuxGame has added tournaments, leaderboards and wager races to its casino platform, built so that they run on games from any provider in an operator’s library.
The tools are live for both real-money and sweepstakes casinos. Rather than relying on tournament features supplied by individual game studios, the Cyprus-based platform provider has built its own engine.
What operators can configure
- Schedules: daily, weekly, monthly or custom periods, plus races scored on turnover
- Prizes: cash, shop points or loyalty-tier experience for each rank, with total cost shown before launch
- Game selection: by provider, game type, category or single title, currently limited to casino content
- Points: a base rate per unit of turnover, with higher or lower rates for individual games
- Entry rules: minimum bet, minimum number of bets and minimum turnover
- Exclusions: a setting to remove games where points could be earned too cheaply
Up to 10 tournaments can run at the same time. Players follow a live leaderboard on a dedicated tournaments page, and results feed into the platform’s reporting.
What the company said
Denis Kosinsky, chief product officer at NuxGame, said operators had wanted tournaments for a long time, but provider terms limited what they could run. He said per-game point rates allow operators to use promotions to manage margin, not only to give out prizes.
Player segmentation is on the roadmap, which would let operators run tournaments for a single loyalty tier.
Why it matters
Tournament tools supplied by studios usually cover only that studio’s games, which makes lobby-wide competitions hard to set up. A provider-independent engine at platform level lets operators set the rules themselves and control promotional cost across their full content mix.
NuxGame supplies turnkey, sportsbook and aggregation products. It holds a Romanian B2B supplier licence.
