Octoplay has launched its games with MrQ, one of the UK’s faster-growing online casino brands. MrQ becomes the 13th operator group in the UK to carry the studio’s content, joining names such as bet365 and Evoke.
The UK is Octoplay’s widest market by operator coverage. The Malta-based studio received its UK licence in March 2023 and went live that December with Paddy Power and Betfair. Octoplay recently featured in Eilers & Fantini’s ranking of US online slot suppliers.
20 regulated markets
Octoplay is now approved in 20 regulated jurisdictions: Malta, the UK, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Finland, Brazil, New Jersey, Michigan, Ontario, Georgia, Croatia, Alberta and Pennsylvania. Founded in October 2022, it says it works with more than 80 operators and has over 150 slots built on its own remote game server, alongside its opt-in jackpot product Jackpot Hunt.
Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO at Octoplay, said:
“We launched our first game in the UK, so this market sets the standard for everything we build. Operators here re-order their lobbies on performance, and being asked back by new brands is the endorsement that matters.”
Daniel Pascoe, Senior Casino Manager at MrQ, said:
“We’re picky about what goes in our lobby. Every game has to earn its place with our players, not just fill a slot. Octoplay have done exactly that. Their games are sharp, built with UK players in mind, and since going live they’ve become a genuine part of the MrQ mix.”
