OpenBet has launched its next-generation sportsbook with Loterie Romande, the exclusive regulated sports betting operator for Switzerland’s six French-speaking cantons. The launch was announced on 15 October 2026.
Loterie Romande’s JouezSport omnichannel sportsbook now runs on the OpenBet platform across online channels, self-service betting terminals and 2,350 retail points of sale. Cash Out is available from launch on the operator’s digital channels.
Loterie Romande first selected OpenBet in March 2025, making the go-live the end of a migration of roughly 18 months.

What the companies said
Nikos Konstakis, president at OpenBet, said: “We are proud to partner with Loterie Romande, delivering an enhanced player experience with Cash Out live at launch.”
Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, chief executive of Loterie Romande, said OpenBet’s sportsbook technology, track record and approach to customers were the reasons the operator chose it.
OpenBet’s lottery business
OpenBet says its technology and services are used by more than 20 lotteries worldwide. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, its platform customers processed more than 175 million bets and over $3 billion in stakes, which the company describes as its largest betting event to date, with no outages from the opening match to the final.
Both companies are tied to the World Lottery Association. Loterie Romande is a member, and OpenBet is a Gold Contributor. The association requires suppliers to meet its standards on social responsibility, responsible gaming, security and risk management.
