Malta-based Booming Games has appointed Darja Roos as Chief Financial Officer. She most recently served as CFO of Yolo Group, after a senior finance role at GAN/Coolbet, and brings more than 20 years of experience across iGaming, fintech and international business.

Roos will lead the finance function and oversee accounting, reporting, auditing and compliance. She will work with Eric Saliba and the finance team in Malta, alongside the rest of the senior leadership.

The appointment follows Ally McIvor taking over as Chief of Sales, as Booming Games brings experienced people into key roles.

Darja Roos said:

“I’m delighted to be joining Booming Games as CFO and believe the 20+ years’ experience I’ve accumulated across iGaming, fintech and international business will enable me to bring a unique perspective to the role. With a strong team already in place and some very ambitious plans for the future, it’s an exciting chance for us to build a stronger, more efficient financial function, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Ramona Petrina, Chief of Staff at Booming Games, said:

“Darja brings exactly the blend of iGaming, governance and international finance experience we need at this stage of our growth. Alongside Eric and the Finance team, she’ll play a key role in building on our existing foundations and supporting our continued growth. We’re delighted to welcome her to the leadership team.”
