Kinetic Digital, part of SkillOnNet, has launched its Spin Genie and Mega Casino brands in Alberta.
Alberta is the second Canadian province, after Ontario, to open online gaming to private regulated operators. The launch was reported on 13 October 2026.
Both sites offer online slots, live casino and table games, together with promotions and responsible gambling tools.

What the company said
Dominic Aldworth, head of brand marketing at Kinetic Digital, described the launch as another milestone for the business. “We’re delighted to bring Spin Genie and Mega Casino to players in Alberta,” he said.
He added: “We look forward to establishing both brands in Alberta, building lasting relationships with players.”
Why it matters
Alberta’s market has drawn a steady flow of suppliers and operators since it opened. Light & Wonder went live there on day one, and BetMGM has said early player value in the province is running ahead of its Ontario launch.

For SkillOnNet, Alberta extends a footprint that already covers regulated markets in Europe and Latin America. The group headquarters is in Cyprus, and its platform runs the Kinetic Digital brands in its other markets as well.
Running both brands on the parent’s platform means Kinetic Digital can reuse existing technology, game content and operational processes in the new province, rather than building a separate stack for Canada.
The two brands join a growing list of operators taking advantage of the province’s new regime. Kinetic Digital did not give details of its Alberta licence or approval in its announcement, and no commercial figures were disclosed.
