Where the programme stands

Evolution announced the buyback on 18 May 2026 to reduce its share capital and, in the company’s words, optimise its capital structure. Citibank carries out the purchases and decides their timing independently of the company, in line with the EU Market Abuse Regulation and its safe harbour rules.

Since 19 May the group has repurchased 18,539,688 shares in total. Of those, 16,168,492 bought up to 21 September were cancelled in September, leaving Evolution with 2,371,196 shares in treasury as of 23 October. The company has 183,058,121 shares in issue, and its holding of own shares may not exceed 10% of that total, a cap of 18,305,812 shares.

Evolution supplies live casino and online games to around 870 operators and employs about 23,400 people in studios across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Its slot studios include Big Time Gaming.
